Jason & I went in for our 20 week ultrasound today and the great news is, that the baby looks healthy, all organs were working as they should be and all measurements are totally normal. Here's the YouTube Clip:
The not so great news for those of us Type A personalities who want to go shopping and start decorating the nursery is that the baby was very modestly hiding it's parts with the umbilical cord. Initially the ultrasound technician thought he saw girl anatomy:

But, the baby's position made it very difficult to confirm. We tried all sorts of different positions and were ultrasounding away for almost 40 minutes, but in the end, they told us they really just weren't sure. :(

The baby was quite active during the ultrasound which was fun to watch. She (we are going with "she" for now...) was also sucking her thumb and stuck her tongue out at us (which probably backs up the girl hypothesis).

We are so happy that the baby is healthy, she is a blessing from God, for sure! Thanks to everyone who voted!

Oh yeah, as long as she doesn't cry too much and leaves mommy's 'juice' alone! :)
It's going to be great! Someone to shop & get mani pedis with. A built in girlfriend!
Yeah! I was just talking about you yesterday to my sister-in-law, telling her how great this pregnancy was going. I can't wait to here if it's really a girl! Um, not to upset you, but they thought Austin might have been a girl, and he was ALL boy (and not small either...haha), so don't go buying all pink yet!
Yeah! Congrats! I cannot wait to be an Auntie! We love you both so much and miss you more and more as days go by. Wish you weren't so darn far away, but we are looking forward to visiting you and the lovely state of Oregon soon. Hugs, kisses and a pat on the tummy from Aunt Ashley. :)
I love the video!! What a gift it will be to your little one. Nick and I are going with "girl".
Sorry I didn't get in touch sooner..had a little prego drama but all is good now. Isaac was 19 weeks, 6 days the same day as your ultrasound so he is one one day behind you...(he caught up!). Dr says he's growing like a weed. I can't wait till we meet our little ones.
SO exciting!! Praise the Lord whom all good things come!!!
