Welcome to the world, Kaitlynn Sarabella!

Yesterday was an exciting day for our family. My sister Rebekah had her baby, Kaitlynn Sarabella Kline in Ventura. I wasn't able to be at the birth, but my mom took lots of pictures for me and auntie Amanda.

Kaitlynn weighed in at 6 lb, 11 oz. and was 20 1/2 inches long. She was born 1 day early and her and cousin Hayden are exactly 4 months, 1 day apart. I can't wait to meet her in 12 days!

I just spoke to Bekah and she and baby are doing really well. They plan to go home this evening! Rebekah is such a natural with her niece Hayden, she and Brandon are going to be wonderful parents. Thanks to everyone for sharing in our joy!

My Little Sister's Wedding

You know you're getting old when your baby sister gets married. :) I can remember when my mom came into my room and said that it was time to go to the hospital. I also have fond memories of sharing a room with her when she was a baby, and now she's starting a family of her own.

Bekah and Brandon had been dating over a year when they decided to get married. They had a beautiful beach wedding and reception at my grandma's house in Ventura on March 21, 2009. Chelsea referred us to a great photographer, Araxi Dertavitian who captured some great shots of the wedding. Here is a link to the photo gallery and Araxi's blog of the wedding. I apologize for not embedding pictures into the blog, but my bridesmaid duties kept me from taking pictures. :)
